San Diego

I have a competition at SD. So I'm going there early so I can chill and not have to really worry about getting there. I have more than a whole day to sleep and get pumped. I'm expectially nervous about this one because of my ankle. Vlatemere is going to be there watching, so this'll be interesting...

I'm staying at my sister's apartment in SD. She goes to UCSD...so she lives really close. Nervous...ugh...

Wish me luck!!

Do Me a Favor...

If you ever become a coach, ask your gymnast if she's okay working on her hurt ankle or whatever.

It was 3:25 PM:
I didn't want to wake up and go to gym. I didn't want to go because I was afraid I was going to die...because I might make my injury worse and then I won't be able to compete in the San Diego Classic.

That would be REALLY bad...it would shatter my dreams. :(

Today we had to do bars, floor, and then beam.

Oh and Vlatamere came today. :) He's really cool. :)

Anyways, we showed a routine on bars and I did farely well.

The on floor, I did at 7 of each pass on the tumble trak. After that, I went onto the floor and did a dance through that was HORRIBLE!! I didn't do any tumbling (thank God!) but I did my leap and turn (when my coach never even told me not to do it, but she told me after I humiliated myself but I don't blame her). I totally died.

Then on beam, I did some skills, showed my routine (kinda routine since I didn't do a lot of the skills), and then did 5 of each skill. I took off the tape on my foot and went to ice.

Then we did conditioning and did the "D.E. DO WORK" thing and went home. I got really pissed today though, but I'm not going to talk about that.

See all of you later...

Last Day for Jason Gatson

Today was Jason's last day. I didn't go to gym though. I was too sad and depressed...I knew I wouldn't be able to stop crying if I did go...because it's true. I wept all yesterday and all today, and when I wasn't I was thinking about Traci, Jason, and Louise. I don't think I'll ever see a stick the same way again...

They're irreplaceable.

Surprise Party and the Meeting

We threw a little surprise party for Jason and Traci. Jason gave a great speech and Traci was crying silently beside him. We all gave them a hug and took pictures tha tmade our mouths hurt. There was pizza, chips, and soda. We gave them the signed card that had all of the girls' team's signatures and farewells. We also gave Jason his signed stick. He always had this big wood stick. He swung it around and made us laugh. It was HIS stick, believe me. We were a bit sad when we gave it to him because it was a part of him, but he looked pretty happy.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After everyone got some food and drinks, we went into the preschool room. I hadn't mentioned this yet, but Louise has sold the gym and we were all real sad...The new coaches and owners were there along with the owners' daughter, Arianna. She was 12! and in level 10! I've heard that she's really good! Anyways, Wendy and Eric (the owners) talked about their background and their goals and visions. There were some questions and they answered them. The coaches were pretty quiet. (I don't really know how to spell their names, but I'll do my best!) Tatiana and Flatamere are from Russia and are private coaches for Arianna. Flatamere speaks english pretty fluently, but Wendy isn't, so she's going to school and working her butt off so she can communicate with us and teach us the best that she can.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After that, the team introduced itself to Arianna. We all said our names and said "hello." Then we went to the floor to finish our food and get dressed to go home. Jason brought his Olympic Games medal, too! It's SOOO shiny and pretty. It's in a case. He treasures it so much. We all wanted to see it, so he remembered to bring on his almost-last day. (Tomorrow's the ACTUAL real day.) I got a pic with him and gave him his present (a card with a $100 Wal-Mart gift card.)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
YEAH! Today was a GREAT day...-.-
Everything's all happening so fast. I just can't take this...well I can...but barely. ;(
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
That concludes my sad story. Until next time...Oh and I forgot to mention...I sprained my ankle. (I'm not sure it's SPRAINED...but I hope it's not a fracture or anything...so i'll just say it's sprained) I sprained it on Tuesday -.- And then I couldn't walk properly at school...Ugh...FUN!!

TWO NEW COACHES?!

Okay, as you probably already know, Jason and Tracy have resigned. And so...we need two new coaches. We'll see the coaches on Monday. Can't wait. -.-

I really hope they are nice, but strict, too...so I can improve. I'm pretty sure one's a guy and ones a girl, but who knows? The teams pretty excited! My mom heard something about one of the new coaches...something about being from Russia...or something. Can't be sure. :P

Team OC Coompetition Results

Well I didn't do too great. But my friend Angie did absolutely GREAT...and she didn't think so. Isn't it annoying and stupid when you say that your friend is awesome and they don't think so? :P I think so.

Anyways. The results of all the people's (at Diamond Elite) scores (including mine, Angie's, Lexi's, and Nikki's) are on the website below:

http://diamondelitegymnastics.com/results.asp

In my opinion, we all did good. No matter what happens, we're family.

The gym (OC) is really big. They have at least 3 sets of uneven bars, 8 high beams, 2 floors, and 2 vaults. They also have this huge pit! I just wanted to jump into it! They had ropes, too.

GymMax wasn't in my session (1st session: 8AM-11:30 on 1/16), but they were in Nikki's (3rd session: 5-8:30 same day). They were amazing! Their bars was almost flawless. On beam, too! Their vaults were extremely high...and so powerful! On floor, their tumbling passes were really advanced. They had double twists, fronthandspring layout layout fulls, double arabians, and more! They inspired me. After what I saw, I wanted to be just like them.

Competition at OC

Diamond Elite gymnastics have a competition at Team OC tomorrow, January 16, 2010. Levels 7-10. I'm in level 8 so I'll be competing with Lexi and Angie. :)

The comp. will be at 8 A.M. I just cut my hair and it feels really weird. My head feels so much lighter, so im light-headed...literally.

I hope I do well. I'm nervous for all the events. But I'm sure that if I do what I do in practice, I'll do great.

I was talking to a friend on AIM and this is what we said:

William (W): GOOD LUCK
Me (H): O-o o ty, lolz
W: WIN
H: Haha
W: AND DOMINATE
H: XD
W: WIN
H: lolz
W: AND THEN WIN AGAIN
W: ASIAN DOMINATION!

And that's what he said. :D

Jason's Resignation

My coach Jason is resigning. He's going to another state because he got offered a great job and great opportunities. We will all miss him...

Diamond Elite

Diamond Elite is a pretty nice place. We have beams, 2 floors, bars, 2 vaults, a trampoline, 2 tumpling tracks, 2 pits, and a parent viewing area. The coaches there are really nice and can really help me and my teammates improve. :)

I absolutely LOVE IT THERE!
